on和over的區(qū)別

on和over的區(qū)別：指代不同、用法不同、側(cè)重點不同。on是指在…上；over時指部分或全部覆蓋在…上面。on指與另一物表面相接觸；over指一物在另一物的垂直上方，多暗示懸空，但也含“覆蓋于……之上”之意。

1、on：在……之上

on與其他兩個介詞最大的不同之處在于，on表示在上面的物體與下面的物體有表面接觸。如：

a plate of cakes on the table（桌子上的一盤蛋糕），則表示蛋糕在桌子上，二者表面是有接觸的。

My mother put a picture on the wall.

我媽媽在墻上掛了一幅畫。

2、over：在……之上；從一邊到另一邊；覆蓋

over也可以表達某物在……的上方，但是懸空在上方，沒有接觸面。如：在頭上撐起一把傘；或者茶幾上方有盞燈。

There was a lamp hanging over the table.

餐桌上面吊著一盞燈。

on：

1、On the contrary, say defenders of pizza, it is indeed a healthful food.

相反地，為披薩辯護的人則說它確實是一種健康食品。

2、his water-colours were on the line, and he was a successful man.

他的水彩畫掛在最佳位置，他是一個成功的畫家。

over：

1、Happiness diffused all over the crowded deck like a flower fragrance.

幸福象花兒的芬芳一樣散布在擁擠的甲板上。

2、If you place the mouse cursor over this icon, a menu bar that says TestActivity appears.

如果將鼠標(biāo)光標(biāo)懸停于此圖標(biāo)之上，會出現(xiàn)一個菜單欄，顯示TestActivity。
