compare to與compare with的區(qū)別：Compare to用來強調(diào)相似性，但是Compare with不僅可以表示相似性還可以表示差異，但是通常強調(diào)差異性，在使用時首先要注意事物之間是不是相似，其次要注意事物之間相似之處和差異。

1、意思不同

compare with：表示把什么與什么相比，同類相比。

compare to：表示把什么比做什么，異類相比，比喻。

2、用法不同

不同事物用Compare to ，相同事物用Compare with。with表示把什么和什么相比，比較，是指研究評判人與人之間，事物與事物之間相同或相異的程度。

例如：Compared with his past,he has changed a lot.

與過去相比，他變了很多。

to表示是指出兩者之間的關(guān)系或相似。

例如：We often compare a teacher to a candle.

我們常把老師比喻成蠟燭。
