on my way home為什么不加to

因為home本身可做副詞，如to or at one's home，home已經(jīng)有這個介詞意義的表達(dá)了，所以不需要再加to了，如i'm on the way there，there是副詞，所以前面也不加to。如果是school或者是mall的話，還是需要用加to的。

1.I was going to do it on my way home.

我將要在我的回家的路上做它。

2.I like to read China Daily on my way home.

我喜好在回家的途中瀏覽《中國日報》。

3.Nothing much. I'm just on my way home.

沒什么事。我只不過是在回家的路上而已。

4.On my way home, I met a group of students.

我在回家的路上遇見了一群學(xué)生。

5.What are you doing there? I'm on my way home.

你在那干嗎？我在回家的路上。
