pick up意思

當(dāng)pick up作用的對象是人時，表示舉起、搭載、抓捕等。當(dāng)pick up作用的對象是物時，表示拿起、買、接收等。當(dāng)pick up單獨使用時，表示接電話、改善等。

（一）作用對象是人時：

1、舉起、抱起

He picked up the child and put her on his shoulders.

他抱起孩子讓她騎在自己的肩膀上。

2、（開車）接、取

The next morning, my mum came to pick me up.

第二天早上,我的媽媽來接我。

3、逮捕

Tomhad been picked up by police at his office.
