gazeat和stareat的區(qū)別

gaze at和stare at都有“看，凝視”的意思。但stare at指由于好奇、無禮傲慢而睜大眼睛“凝視”。gaze at指由于興趣、感慨、喜歡或驚奇而目不轉(zhuǎn)睛的“凝視”。

1、表示看的角度和遠近程度不同。

gaze at一般指看遠處的事物，而stare at一般指看眼前的事物或人。

2、表示看的程度不同。

Gaze at表示“目不轉(zhuǎn)睛地看”，并含有“驚嘆”、“羨慕”或“入迷”的意思。

Stare at特別表示“睜大眼睛凝視”，并含有“驚奇”、“傲慢”或“茫然”的意思。

3、表達的感情色彩不同。

Stare at 指由于吃驚、好奇或愚蠢而固定地直接盯住某人或物，常包含贊美、驚奇、害怕之意。有時還可用來表示傲慢無禮地看。

Gaze at。gaze指因驚訝或贊賞而長時間無意識地凝視、注視某人或物。常包含感嘆、贊美之意。

1、He just sat gazing into space.

他只是坐著茫然地望著。

2、She gazed at me in disbelief when l told her the news.

當我告訴她這個消息時，她難以置信地盯著我。

3、After gazing at the display for several minutes, Mr Taylor went back into his shop.

4、Every day, people would wake and stare at the mountain.
